Michael is a Principal specialising in patent business development for our Stockholm office.
Since qualifying in 1992, Michael has helped advise both domestic and overseas clients in European, Swedish and international patenting in all technical fields with a special focus on software patenting. During this time, Michael has worked with large listed companies as well as with highly innovative SMEs. His professional experience also includes, amongst others, patent prosecution, international patent project management and patent litigation.
While at IPQ, Michael has, besides his work as a patent specialist, designed and developed the firm’s patent advisory services, continuously enhancing the processes for efficient patent prosecution and IP portfolio management. He has also been the chairman of the Association of Intellectual Property Law Firms in Sweden, (SEPAF) and is currently a member of the steering board of SEPAF.
