Ed oversees and edits the coverage by Managing IP, chairs and presents the publication’s events and awards ceremonies, and commissions expert comment articles. He has knowledge of all areas of IP, including trademarks, patents and copyright.
Deputy Managing Editor
Patrick reports on patent-related issues, including FRAND, supplementary protection certificates and patent eligibility, as well as trade secrets. He also assists with chairing industry events and producing conference newspapers.
Max leads our news coverage. He also covers all aspects of IP, particularly trademark and copyright matters, and mainly focusses on Europe. Coverage includes regular articles exploring how in-house counsel are managing their IP portfolios and adapting to legislative developments, as well as interviews with industry figures and reactions to important court judgments.
Sukanya covers all IP-related issues in Asia including trademark, copyright, patent and design matters. She has worked as an in-house counsel in the past. She is particularly interested in enforcement strategies adopted by brand owners and overlaps between different IP disciplines.
Kingsley oversees the research for Managing IP’s annual awards programme and our legal guide known as IP STARS, a publication that ranks IP law firms and practitioners. His postgraduate qualifications include a master’s degree in IP from Queen Mary University of London.
John is a legal awards researcher. He also leads the research effort across several of Euromoney’s legal awards, including the Women in Business Law and Rising Star awards. John manages research across a wide array of legal specialisms globally.
Commercial Director, Business Development (EMEA)
Nick heads up the business development team across the Legal Media Group, including Managing IP and IP STARS. He collaborates with firms and service providers to showcase their expertise to our global and engaged in-house community, through our different platforms and formats including new media and thought leadership content.
Business Development (Asia)
Matthew is Sales Manager for Asia-Pacific. He sells print and digital advertisements in Managing IP and IP STARS, as well as advertising in thought leadership products. Matthew also sells sponsorship for some MIP events based in Asia.
