Jacob Karstad Meyland specialises in mechanics, electronics, and software and has extensive knowledge of physiological measurements and medical devices.
Jacob is very hands-on in early-stage client developments, offering insight and advice during the process, and is very experienced in the drafting and prosecution of patent families.
Jacob also specialises in opposition and appeal cases at the EPO. He has helped numerous clients maintain patent rights and successfully revoke or restrict competitors’ patent rights. In recent years, oral proceedings in examination matters have also become quite a field of expertise. He has moreover been involved in preparations for court proceedings in Denmark and is continuously building solid experience in supporting Danish national and cross-border litigation.
Jacob is highly respected among both colleagues and clients for his patent insight and advice.
