Biography
Christian Espersen is a European Patent Attorney at COPA’s mechanics and electronics team.
He specialises in mechanics and is highly involved in drafting and prosecution, in particular in the fields of medical devices and wind turbine technology.
He is renowned for his ability to grasp complex mechanical aspects, and to translate inventor’s concepts into patentable inventions. This has led to him previously being part time insourced with one of COPA’s clients, with the task of harvesting and documenting ideas subject to patent protection.
Over the past years he has gained extensive experience in representing clients in oral proceedings.
