I am a counsel in our Intellectual Property practice in Amsterdam. I focus on technology-related matters and patent law in particular.
I litigate on a broad range of sectors including life science and technology and communication and have been involved in numerous landmark patent proceedings. I litigate before national courts at all levels in the Netherlands, including the Supreme Court, as well as before the European Patent Office in opposition proceedings. I have extensive experience handling and coordinating multijurisdictional and pan-European patent proceedings.
My work is recognised by a broad range of rankings over the past years including by Legal 500, Expert Guides and Managing IP.
I am an active member of the AIPPI and am a co-author of the leading international handbook on Patent Protection for Second Medical Uses.
