IP STARS 2020: New rankings for firms and practitioners

ip-stars-rankings-available-now-600x400-v2.jpg

We published more than 60 IP ranking tables and the rankings of the leading IP practitioners in private practice

The new rankings, which we announced last month on ipstars.com, follow the release of our trademark rankings in March.

New general IP rankings

We now have new firm rankings for the jurisdictions where we assess and rank firms for their IP practice as a whole instead of breaking it down into different IP areas.

In the Americas, we published rankings for more than 40 US states, and we introduced Bolivia, Central America, Dominican Republic and Paraguay.

We have 18 EMEA jurisdictions with IP rankings, e.g. Croatia, Greece, Slovakia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and six jurisdictions in the Asia Pacific region, including Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Practitioner rankings

We also published the IP Stars list for 2020. However, we have not yet revealed our special Top 250 Women in IP, Corporate Stars and Rising Stars lists for 2020.

More 2020 rankings to come

We will release more rankings in the coming weeks and months. For example, the Corporate Stars list (for in-house IP practitioners) and the firm rankings for patent work will be published in June. The patent rankings will also be featured in the summer edition of the Managing IP magazine.

About IP STARS

IP STARS is the leading specialist guide to IP law firms and practitioners worldwide. Managing IP published its first legal directory in 1994 and rebranded it in 2013 as IP STARS. The research for IP STARS covers a variety of IP practice areas and more than 70 jurisdictions, making it the most comprehensive and widely respected guide in the IP profession.
