Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Latvia have all said they will not ratify the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement following protests

In the past two weeks large rallies have taken place against the trade agreement, in Poland and elsewhere, and a coordinated series of protests across the EU is planned for this weekend.

As with protests against anti-piracy legislation SOPA and PIPA in the US, the websites of prominent politicians and of EU institutions have also been hacked. The final draft of ACTA was concluded in November...
