Smartphone patent battles and the growing prominence of the ITC, as well as lateral moves, have led to changes in the US rankings in this year’s IP survey

While rampant patent litigation seems to be inspiring some questionable new business models, it has been forcing others to improve upon old but increasingly important skills.
