Icann denies misconduct over .xxx

Icann has rebutted claims that it approved the .xxx TLD in an unfair manner and then created a monopoly for ICM by claiming that it does not engage in trade or commerce

Adult publisher Manwin sued Icann and ICM in November, alleging that they conspired to eliminate competition in the .xxx market. Manwin wants the Central District Court of California to place an injunction on .xxx.

In its motion to dismiss, Icann said it should not be subject to antitrust claims and said it has created more competition in the adult market. Icann claims that Manwin is worried about more competition in the pornography market.
