Rules within EU member states on so-called look-alikes vary so greatly that the practice is able to flourish in parts of the European Union, says a report prepared for the European Commission
In March last year the Commission asked law firm Hogan Lovells to study the legal framework and practices dealing with parasitic copying, usually known as look-alikes, in the EU’s 27 member states.
