Hope remains for EU patent

The European Commission could release two proposals for regulations on the EU patent next week, despite concerns that the project has been torpedoed by the EU Court of Justice

Thierry Sueur, head of IP at Air Liquide and president of the patents group for BusinessEurope, told Managing IP in an interview that the Court’s opinion on an EU patent court “raises serious issues” for the proposals.
