Mystifying allegations in UDRP, says panellist

A panellist has labelled a complainant’s allegation that the respondent had prior knowledge of mark "mystifying" in a UDRP decision

In a case decided on July 15, WIPO panellist W Scott Blackmer gave short shrift to complainant Juicy Details’ claim that the respondent, known as Another.com, should have been aware of its mark Juicy Details in view of the long period of time that complainant had already registered and used the brand name JUICE [sic] DETAILS.

The complainant, a Dutch company, was established...
