The need for more compliance is one of the few consensus positions to emerge from the vertical integration working group, but no recommendation on a cross-ownership model appears imminent
Six options have some support from group members, but most insiders believe that only two proposals have any chance: JN2 and Rack+.
The fact that agreement appears far off is unsurprising to anyone who has followed even a fraction of the 3,000 emails the group has generated in its sometimes contentious debates.
