Dr. Iida is qualified to represent parties in court in intellectual property litigation. He specialises in biochemistry, molecular biology, and pharmaceuticals.
He has experience constructing target screening systems and evaluation systems for anti-cancer agents (both cell-based and cell-free systems). Dr. Iida also has detailed knowledge of genome editing and gave a lecture on notes of caution for patent maps and strategies for patent applications on genome editing at a seminar entitled “The Drug Development which Genome Editing has been Changing” organised by Nikkei Biotechnology & Business.
Dr. Iida has been asked to contribute articles to medical magazines and conducted webinars and seminars based on his wide knowledge and experience in biotechnology and the intellectual property field.
