Sena Yaşaroğlu has over 10 years of experience in intellectual property law, focusing on the protection, enforcement and commercialization of trademarks, plant variety rights, domain names, copyrights and unfair trade practices, as well as regulatory compliance. He advises domestic and international clients across a broad range of industries, helping them protect and maximize the value of their intellectual property assets.
A significant part of his practice involves anti-counterfeiting work. He has led nationwide market clean-up operations and raids, managed criminal proceedings, and overseen the seizure of counterfeit goods. Sena works closely with customs authorities to suspend infringing goods in transit and regularly represents clients in training programs organized by the Ministry to increase awareness of intellectual property rights.
He also has extensive litigation experience, handling infringement, unfair competition and invalidation actions, and advising clients throughout all stages of disputes, from negotiations through to court proceedings. In addition, he advises on regulatory compliance matters related to the Turkish Food Codex and advertising law, providing guidance before product launches and marketing campaigns and representing clients before regulatory authorities.
