Natividad has a strong background in patents and patent searching after having been responsible for the Scientific Information and/or IP departments of several pharmaceutical companies and of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She holds a Master in Online Documentation from the University of Barcelona (UB). Her knowledge of the patent system was strengthened by collaborating with the Patent Centre of the UB from 2001 until joining ZBM. She joined ZBM in 2005.
Natividad is involved in scientific and patent information retrieval, patent drafting and in the preparation of freedom-to-operate opinions, validity analysis, and patentability reports.
She passed the European Qualifying Examination in 2009, and became a partner in 2010. In 2023, she obtained the European Patent Litigation Certificate which will give her the right to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court.
