Kateřina specialises in industrial property law and questions of copyrights, including the overlaps of two areas – intellectual property and food regulatory. Kateřina has experience in enforcing and addressing rights having a cross-border element, particularly to and from German-speaking countries.
In the area of intellectual property, she focuses on industrial rights and copyright issues. In the above areas, as well as in other areas of law, Kateřina has been involved in a number of Czech-German transactions and litigation legal advice to both Czech and foreign clients, particularly in the areas of industrial property. She is currently following up on her experience in the field of industrial rights and assists clients in preparing and setting up trademark portfolios as well as in related matters, including trademark prosecution, franchising, licensing etc.
Prior to joining HAVEL & PARTNERS in 2022, she gained experience in an international law firm in Munich in the industrial law department, where as an IP paralegal she was in charge of patent and trademark portfolios.
