Gabriela Milcev has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 1999. She also holds memberships in the Romanian Chamber of Patent Attorneys, which she joined in 2003, and is licensed as a European trademark and design attorney since 2007.
Gabriela possesses an extensive breadth of expertise spanning various facets of intellectual property matters. Her competencies encompass patents, trademarks, designs, utility models, copyright, and trade secrets.
Gabriela engages fervently in comprehending the intricate technical dimensions inherent in inventions and innovations. This diligence enables her to adeptly safeguard these creations through patents, utility models, or trade secrets. She formulates both national and transnational strategies for the safeguarding and advocacy of trademark rights. She also organises and oversees training initiatives, specifically tailored to provide practical explanations of intellectual property concepts to internal marketing and legal divisions within clients’ organisations.
She was successfully involved in resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and international arbitration, and she is currently engaged in assisting clients in litigation disputes in the pharmaceutical, banking, entertainment, and hospitality industries.
Gabriela is also involved in consultancy matters in corporate affairs by providing integrated and concurring strategies on intellectual property rights with an impact on the economic component.
Gabriela has held several mandates within the Disciplinary Committee of the Romanian Chamber of Patent Attorneys. Throughout her tenure, she consistently exhibited a blend of elegance, impartiality, and an unwavering focus on upholding the profession’s esteemed reputation. She is a member of several international organisations, including INTA, ECTA, and Marques.
