Diana Crețu is an attorney-at-law and a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2016. She specialises in intellectual property law, with a practice encompassing both contentious and non-contentious matters relating to trademarks, industrial designs, patents and copyright.
Diana advises a broad range of domestic and international clients on the protection, management and
enforcement of intellectual property rights. She has extensive experience in developing trademark protection strategies, managing national, European Union and international trademark portfolios, and handling complex prosecution proceedings before the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
On the contentious side, Diana represents clients before the Romanian courts in disputes concerning trademark infringement, invalidity actions, unfair competition and copyright protection.
In addition, she advises on the commercial exploitation of intellectual property rights, assisting clients with the negotiation and drafting of a broad range of IP-related agreements.
