Recent Matter / Case Highlights
  • TOT Power Control, S.L. v. Apple, Samsung and LG (D. Del.) In June 2025, Denise led the trial team that secured a jury verdict of $110,738,008 for TOT Power Control against Apple, representing the third-largest patent damages verdict in the District of Delaware in 2025 and the eighth largest in the United States. After a three-day trial, the jury found Apple liable for infringement of one patent relating to power-saving improvements in 3G technology, upheld the patent’s validity, and awarded a $0.25 running royalty. Denise will continue leading TOT’s related patent infringement actions against LG and Samsung.
  • Inmar Brand Solutions, Inc. v. Quotient Technology Inc. (D. Del., PTAB) Denise represented Inmar, a company specialising in electronic coupon distribution and clearing. She helped convert an infringement notice received from a competitor into a strategic patent enforcement opportunity, securing an exclusive licence to the competitor’s patents and asserting them against Quotient Technologies. Following significant procedural and substantive victories, including the PTAB’s denial of institution on one inter partes review petition, the matter settled favourably for Inmar in July 2025.
  • Lambeth Magnetic Structures LLC v. Seagate Technologies (US) Holdings Inc. (W.D. Pa., Fed. Cir.) Denise represents Lambeth Magnetic Structures in a long-running patent infringement dispute concerning advanced hard drive technology. She successfully defeated Seagate’s summary judgment motion, led the 2022 jury trial, and later secured a major appellate victory when the Federal Circuit reversed the district court’s claim construction and vacated the jury’s non-infringement verdict. Denise will serve as lead trial counsel in the retrial.
