Chris is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. He has a PG Dip (Legal Practice), PG Cert (IP) and Professional Cert (Trade Marks Practice) along with an LLB (Hons) degree and an IP Litigation Certificate.
Chris is experienced across a range of international trade mark matters including clearance searches, filing strategies, prosecution, maintenance and enforcement. He specialises in all aspects of trade mark prosecution and management across the continent of Africa (59 countries and surrounding islands) and the Caribbean region covering 24 jurisdictions. His client portfolio includes, among others, global brand owners from the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and telecoms industry sectors.
Chris worked for a leading UK IP firm before moving to Spoor & Fisher Jersey.
