Brittany Ashton is a Partner in FB Rice’s Melbourne chemistry team. She specialises in medicinal chemistry and pharmaceuticals, with expertise in small molecules, organic synthesis, methods of treatment, formulations, combinations and dosage regimens. Brittany also has a particular interest in emerging areas such as radiopharmaceuticals and antibody-drug conjugates.

Brittany provides strategic advice on the development, protection and commercialisation of intellectual property. Drawing on her scientific expertise, deep understanding of patent law across multiple jurisdictions and strong commercial insight, she works closely with clients to build and manage robust global IP portfolios that support their innovation and business objectives.

In recognition of her expertise and client service, Brittany was awarded Best IP Specialist at the Client Choice Awards in 2021. She has also been recognised by MIP IP STARS.
