As Brandsmiths Head of IP, Andy is the firm's representative with the Intellectual Property Lawyers Association and regularly contributes to consultations on law and practice.
Andy has led high-profile IP disputes in the High Court, IPEC, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. He also has experience of obtaining interim injunctive relief for clients including search and Norwich Pharmacal orders.
He adopts a robust, aggressive approach to litigation combined with commerciality to help steer clients towards the result they want to achieve.
Andy was awarded soft-IP lawyer of the year at the 2023 and 2025 Managing IP EMEA awards.
