Specific areas of IP-expertise relates to the patenting, trademark and design process, including drafting, freedom to operate, prosecution and general advisory work as well as the IP-related work including due diligence, litigation and infringement opinions.  Key technical areas are medical devices, pharmaceuticals, mechanicals, environmental, protection inventions, wind energy, air and water treatment etc. 

Ms. Marianne Holme is a chemical engineer and has specialised in IP-rights relating to especially medical devices – and she is known to be one of the few IP specialist on medical devices in Denmark having a hands-on background. She participates in oppositions and appeal procedures, and negotiates agreements to settle  disputes.

Ms. Annelise Holme is a chemical engineer and has specialised in patent oppositions and appeals both before the European patent Office and the Danish Patent Office and has acted as an Expert Judge in the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court, and as technical expert in Patent litigation.  

HP represent clients in all area of technology, no client is too small or too large. We aim at providing all clients the same kind of objective counseling. We normally work several advisers on the same task in order to ensure that a task is analysed from several different perspectives – we have often heard that since we give the clients both benefits and disadvantage for all possibilities in a given case, the clients have the best chances at arriving at the “correct” decision from their point of view.
