Foley adds former president of Brinks Hofer

Foley & Lardner has added IP litigator Jerold Jacover as of counsel in its Chicago office.

Jacover joins from Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, where he was a shareholder in the Chicago office and was firm president from 2000 to 2005. He is also the founder of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago’s Educational Foundation, which awards scholarships to disadvantaged high school students in the Chicago area. He focuses on patent, copyright and unfair competition, including litigation and trials.

He has expertise in technology, including electronic circuitry, remote controls, robotics, electro-mechanical systems, injection molding and food and beverage equipment.
