Commission calls for a single digital market
The European Commission will look to centralise collecting societies and other intermediaries between artists and consumers, commissioner Neelie Kroes suggested on Friday
In a speech at a forum in Avignon, France, Kroes said these groups are enable piracy to flourish and denying revenues to artists.
