Brand domains hijacked in Israel

Brands including Coca-Cola and Microsoft had their .co.il domains hijacked earlier this year, according to a new report

The Phising Trends Report for Q2 this year by internet security company Internet Identity says the attack happened on June 10, when the company detected improper domain name system (DNS) resolutions for 11 domains operating under the Israel domain .co.il.

The attack redirected visitors from the affected sites to a website that hosted a politically motivated message.
