Monsanto's push to get protection for its Roundup Ready soybean technology in Argentina is not likely to succeed anytime soon, according to lawyers in Argentina

In a statement sent to Managing IP last month, Monsanto disagreed with the Court of Justice of the EU's (CJ) decision that patented DNA sequences can only be protected when they perform the function specified in the patent.
