North America Awards 2010

More than 140 guests attended dinner at the Four Seasons Georgetown in Washington DC last month for Managing IP’s third annual North America Awards Dinner

Lawyers from the leading firms in the US and Canada, as well as VIP guests from the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the US Copyright Office, AIPLA and the USPTO attended the event.

More than 40 awards were presented to the leading firms in patent, trade mark and copyright work, as well as special awards for outstanding IP practitioner and lifetime and outstanding achievement.

Twenty awards were made to the leading regional firms of 2009 in the areas of patent prosecution and litigation, trade mark filing and contentious work and copyright work. Presentations were also made to the national award winners in the US and Canada for cases of the year in the area of trade marks, patents and copyright, and for work in life sciences, pharmaceutical litigation and disputes at the International Trade Commission.
