Almost 400 guests attended dinners on both sides of the Atlantic in March to celebrate the winners of Managing IP's global and North America awards
Managing IP's fourth annual Awards Dinner was held at The Dorchester in London at the end of March, with more than 250 guests coming from as far away as Chile, Australia, France, China and Indonesia.
More than 40 awards were presented to the leading firms in Europe, Asia and Latin America at the black-tie dinner. The magazine also presented special awards recognising pan-European work in high-tech, life sciences, patent, trade mark and copyright, in-house team of the year and outstanding individual achievement.
OHIM president Wubbo de Boer was presented with the award for outstanding achievement in recognition of his work overseeing growth in the Community trade mark and design systems. During his nine years at OHIM de Boer has led the transformation of the OHIM into an office that leads the way in efficiency, use of IT and customer service, winning acclaim from trade mark users worldwide.
