Rubén Canales obtained his law degree in 2007 from the University of Salamanca. He holds a copyright law degree from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
Rubén joined the entertainment department of Abril Abogados in 2009, showing his in-depth knowledge and practical expertise in copyright law, both in contractual and contentious matters.
He has also developed his skills in the Marketing & Advertising field, and he provides his assessment to the clients on Sponsoring and Advertising Works as well as on media and technology practice area.
Leveraging his deep knowledge of the sector and practical case experience, his skills are also very helpful in preparing global strategies for copyright protection, corporate reputation and campaign evaluation.
He also collaborates with the IP litigation department preparing written reports and complaints.
