Ignacio is a founding partner at Abril Abogados and has been combining his work as an IP litigator and university lecturer since 2001.
He holds a doctorate in Intellectual Property Law and is a member of the Private Law Department at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE-ICAI).
In addition, Ignacio is a qualified Patent and Trademark Attorney, authorized to represent clients before both the EUIPO and the EPO. He has extensive experience in Intellectual Property Law, with a particular focus on patent and trademark prosecution and litigation.
He also has in-depth knowledge and practical expertise in copyright law, both in contractual and contentious matters.
Ignacio is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars related to his areas of expertise. He has authored numerous publications and articles at both the national and international levels and is an active member of several professional associations, including INTA, ECTA, and MARQUES.
