Mark is a Partner at Madderns and has worked in the intellectual property field for more than 30 years. He has gained experience from all angles; first as a patent examiner (the Federal Government), then as a patent consultant with Sirotech Limited (the Patent Applicant), and as a patent attorney in private practice (the IP Professional).
As head of Madderns’ Life Sciences and Chemistry team, Mark leads an enthusiastic and technically-strong team who know how to adapt and tailor their services for clients of all shapes and sizes. Their approach to solving problems is to advise clients and not merely provide a list of alternatives, and they all get a “kick” out of knowing that their service has truly helped and been valued.
The respected international journal, Managing Intellectual Property, has named Mark as an Australian patent “IP Star” every year since 2014.
His outside interests include English Premier League football (he’s another frustrated, but increasingly optimistic Arsenal fan), English cars and collecting old stuff.
