Karina is experienced in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing technical-legal opinions and advising clients on issues related to inventions in the field of biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmacy and medicine.

A substantial part of her professional practice includes taking an active part in patent invalidation proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and before administrative courts, especially with regard to inventions related to pharmaceuticals.

Karina’s specific area of interest includes supplementary protection certificates and paediatric extensions for medicinal products.
