Friedrich has extensive experience in strategies for the acquisition and implementation of national and international patents and trademarks, as well as in litigation, arbitration and licensing. His main fields of technical expertise are applied physics, biophysics, optics, information technology, electronic control systems, semiconductor elements and mechanics.
Friedrich regularly holds lectures on intellectual property law at various national and international seminars for professionals and is active as a court expert at the Appeal Court of Munich. Furthermore, he is the co-author of a manual on mediation and a text book on Patent Law.
Friedrich studied physics, microbiology and mining at the Universities of Marburg, Berlin and Munich and holds a diploma in physics from Munich University with first class honours. His diploma thesis related to a problem in the field of information theory in optics.
