I am mainly concerned with technical IP rights in the field of computer science, in particular telecommunications and mobile communication network and database technology, computer and software-implemented inventions in general, ML/AI mechanisms, and IT security. My practice covers patent prosecution including drafting new patent applications and patent litigation - I was involved in >120 patent litigation cases in Germany over the last 12 years. A particular aspect are prior art searches using a wide network of patent researchers in order to invalidate patents-in-suit in defensive cases or verify the validity situation of potential patents-in-suit in offensive cases.
