Activities include: advising clients on IP matters in general; negotiating and drafting license, franchise, copyright and confidentiality contracts; filing and prosecuting trademarks and patents with the Trademark Office; filing copyright applications with the Copyright Office; due diligence on IP matters; classifying and registering product and service trademarks of Mexican and leading multinational companies; registering trademarks in South and Central America, Europe, Asia and the U.S. through local counsel in each jurisdiction; counseling Mexican and international clients on e-commerce issues related to intellectual property; registering and cancellation of domain names.
