Devanshu completed his engineering in the field of Information Technology and then went on to pursue his LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Devanshu also holds an LL.M. from the George Washington University Law School, USA. Devanshu closely worked with the Think Tank which was entrusted with the task of drafting India’s first National IPR policy. Devanshu is also a registered Patent Agent with the Indian Intellectual Property Office. Before commencing work at Singh & Singh, Devanshu worked in the chambers of Mrs. Prathiba M. Singh, Senior Advocate for two years. He was also appointed a facilitator by the Government of India under the Start-UPs Intellectual Property Protection(SIPP) Scheme. He has also assisted various departments of the Government on critical issues such as guidelines relating to ‘Patentability of Computer Related Inventions’. Devanshu is currently part of the Patent Litigation team and has actively worked on matters involving Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), pharmaceutical patents, and competition law.
