Aadya is a gold medallist law graduate from National Law University, Delhi and a Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge, UK, where she secured a First Division and a specialisation in Commercial Law. She pursued her LL.M. on a full Cambridge Trust scholarship (Justice Prathiba M. Singh Scholarship) and was also awarded the Christ’s College Graduate Scholarship in Law and college prize for outstanding performance in the LL.M. Aadya has worked with several leading barrister sets in London as a Pegasus Scholar of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, including Garden Court Chambers, Quadrant Chambers, 4–5 Gray’s Inn Square as well as Whitestone Chambers. In India, she has gained experience in civil and commercial disputes at various courts and tribunals, as well as in the position of a Law Researcher at the Delhi High Court.
At Singh & Singh Law Firm LLP, Aadya handles a variety of high-profile and complex litigation pertaining to trademark, copyright, design and patent law as well as regulatory and pricing matters.
Aadya has authored various academic works on topics including pharmaceutical pricing, copyright law and cyber law. She has represented the firm at national and international conferences and conclaves in India and Dubai. Further, she has also conducted workshops on IP law for university students and has been invited as a judge for several prestigious moot court and negotiation competitions at the university level.
