Christoph Schröder, who holds a doctorate degree in electrical engineering, focuses on the fields of medical technology, electrical engineering, mobile communications, automotive engineering and mechanics, where he is strongly involved both in patent litigation and patent prosecution. He regularly drafts patent applications for example for cardiac pacemaker systems, infusion pumps, magnetic locks, vehicle components such as door and seat adjustment systems, and electrical connector systems, and accompanies the grant proceedings for his clients before the relevant patent offices in Germany and abroad. With many years of experience, he advises and represents clients in opposition proceedings, nullity proceedings and infringement proceedings, for example in the field of mobile communications and connectivity, in all instances before the German Patent Office, the European Patent Office and the German courts. He also advises on issues concerning complex licensing and cooperation agreements.
