A UK-qualified solicitor, Aaron is also admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Canada and as a solicitor and registered trade mark attorney in Australia. His practice covers all aspects of trade mark and brand protection, with particular expertise in domain name disputes and online enforcement.
Aaron advises on global brand clearance, multi-jurisdictional trade mark disputes, and complex cross-border matters often involving litigation. He regularly supports advertising and marketing agencies, and provides strategic IP budget planning for startups and established businesses alike.
He also has extensive experience in internet-related brand issues, including domain name acquisition, monitoring and enforcement. Aaron acts in disputes before all major domain name tribunals and, in 2018, was selected by ICANN to advise on the Uniform Rapid Suspension system. That same year, he was appointed as a UDRP panellist by the National Arbitration Forum in the United States.
Aaron is known for his practical, commercially focused advice and for helping clients navigate brand protection challenges in the digital space.
