Managing IP’s accreditation title, IP STARS, has unveiled changes to how it publishes its firm and practitioner rankings, with releases now scheduled by jurisdiction rather than practice area.
Starting this year, we will release four batches of jurisdiction-specific rankings, each covering specific practice areas, as well as firm reviews and client testimonials.
We will still rank practitioners and firms in the same sector-specific areas: patents, trademarks, copyright, and transactions.
However, rather than being released as separate rankings with multijurisdictional inclusion, those practice area rankings will instead be included in each jurisdictional release.
The timeline for releases is as follows:
Asia-Pacific: June 4
Western Europe: June 25
CEE Middle East and Africa: July 16
Americas: July 30
Chris Adams, research lead at Managing IP, said: “We understand the importance of firms’ ability to promote their successes, so this change to the IP STARS release schedule is being made with an aim towards having a clearer timeline, plus the added benefit of viewing all results for any given geographic region at once.”
IP STARS rankings for corporate stars and the Top 250 Women in IP will be published separately.
