Wiggin hires TV lawyer

TV lawyer Medwyn Jones is to move from Harbottle & Lewis to Wiggin in January.

Jones, who acts for production companies including the makers of Sherlock, Call the Midwife and The Escape Artist, will be a partner in the firm’s film/TV group

He also represents on-screen and writing talent, rights owners, events owners and agencies and is a board member and trustee of BAFTA.

Jones had been a partner at Harbottle & Lewis for 20 years. His departure follows that of former head of IP Mark Owen, who moved to Taylor Wessing in April this year.
