Special awards to celebrate a decade of IP excellence

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Managing IP Awards, which recognise outstanding work by law firms around the world, as well as celebrating in-house teams and individual achievements

DLA Piper Award

This year’s Awards Dinners will be held at the InterContinental in London on March 11 (Global Awards) and at the Four Seasons in Washington DC on March 18 (North America Awards).

To mark the 10th anniversary, we will be presenting three special trophies to the outstanding IP firms of the past decade in Europe, Asia and North America. These awards will recognise firms that have consistently improved and innovated over the period we have been hosting the awards.

These awards will be in addition to our regular national and regional winners, the global firm of the year, the cases of the year (US and Canada), in-house teams and outstanding achievements by individuals.

The Global Firm of Year award was introduced in 2012 to recognise a firm with outstanding IP practices in Europe, Asia and the Americas. It has been won by Hogan Lovells in 2012, Jones Day in 2013 and DLA Piper (pictured) in 2014.

We have as usual published the shortlists for most of the awards ahead of the ceremonies (see the Global Awards Shortlist and North America Awards Shortlist).

Read more about the previous winners from 2006 to 2014 on our Awards page.

There are a limited number of seats and tables available at both Awards Dinners. If you are interested in attending, please telephone or email your local business development contact as soon as possible.
