Xuelan Yue

Xuelan Yue is a partner at Liu Shen & Associates who has been active in a wide range of technical fields since joining the company in 2006, including machinery, materials, semiconductors, fuel cells, and communications.

In addition to handling invalidation trials, administrative lawsuits, and civil infringement cases, she has extensive experience in right validity appraisals, rights infringement appraisals, evidence collection, and litigation strategy formulation. Furthermore, Xuelan Yue has been involved in many cases involving rights utilisation, rights transfer, and patent licensing for foreign companies in China. In particular, she has a wealth of experience representing Japanese companies as a leader of the Japanese language group.

Xuelan Yue completed a doctoral degree course (energy and advanced materials major) in 2002, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Saga University, Japan, and received a Ph.D. She is the director of the China Intellectual Property Research Association and an expert committee member of the China branch of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) for Q2 2021.
