Minnan (Miranda) Xie

Minnan is a partner of Wanhuida Intellectual Property. She has been practising patent law since 2009, with her technical expertise focusing on biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemistry, and food.

Minnan has abundant experience in patent prosecution, re-examination, and invalidation procedure. Her practice also extends to patent stability and infringement analysis, freedom to operate, and patent strategising. She often helps clients to navigate the China National Intellectual Property Administration’s procedure to secure satisfactory protection scope for granted patents.

Minnan also oversees the firm’s outbound patent prosecution practice. She is capable of tailoring, from a global perspective, differentiated drafting and application strategies by leveraging varied prosecution regimes of different jurisdictions to maximise the interests of clients.
