I joined HGF in March 2017 and now have nearly 20 years of experience jn the IP business.

Pieter has a vast knowledge of the many aspects of IP, focusing on strategic management, clearance, protection, enforcement and exploitation of trade marks and designs. Because of his interest in and good feeling about technical aspects as well, possible patent related opportunities are not forgotten. As a passionate, open-minded, accessible, skilled discussion partner for all different kinds of clients, whether small or large, easy or complex, Pieter is easily able to adapt to each situation and have conversations at all levels. With the usual dose of creativity and out-of-the box thinking Pieter is always looking for a pragmatic and value-added solution to satisfy the clients and their commercial and strategic goals.

Alexander started in IP in the legal department of a multi-national, where after he joined a niche IP firm, and after a few years joined a renowned International IP firm in Amsterdam, working for clients, from start-ups to sports; fashion; technology and design driven businesses, helping them with IP management, design and branding strategies, counterfeit, cross border litigation, conflict advice, structuring, DD, and licensing. He was also part of the senior management of the firm for over 15 years. Alexander joined HGF January 2017.

Achim's practice covers a wide range of chemical, pharmaceutical and high tech inventions, and he is acting for a diverse range of companies across these technologies, from start-ups to multinationals.

Kasper has almost 20 years of experience as an IP attorney. He advises clients about the protection, enforcement and exploitation of their IP rights, such as trademarks, designs and copyrights, on a worldwide level. His specialisms cover worldwide portfolio management, cross border opposition and enforcement strategies, due diligence and counterfeit issues. Kasper joined HGF in January 2017.
