Ms. Deng obtained her Bachelor’s degree from China University of Political Science and Law, and joined the firm in 2013.
Ms. Deng has extensive experience in managing clients’ trademark portfolios and advising clients on brand protection strategies. In addition to enforcing clients’ rights, she has also been advising clients on alternative strategies to avoid unnecessary litigation costs, such as successfully defending infringement lawsuits initiated by trademark squatters through trademark administrative procedures, such as invalidations and cancellations, and even through mediation and settlement.
Ms. Deng represents clients from startups to multinational companies in the technology, finance and pharmaceutical areas, among others, as well as in traditional industries.
Ms. Deng has handled hundreds of trademark prosecution matters before the CNIPA, as well as dozens of trademark court appeals and infringement lawsuits before Beijing Courts and other various Courts.
