Dr. Thomas Kronberger has extensive experience in patent prosecution in physics, mechanical and electrical engineering, and computer-implemented inventions. Over the years, he has also acquired extensive expertise in representing his clients in opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office.
He is also regularly involved in patent nullity proceedings before the Federal Patent Court and the Federal Supreme Court (BGH). Thomas has built up a strong patent litigation practice. Here, he works as a patent attorney collaborating with the firm’s litigation attorneys, particularly in information and communication technology, semiconductor technology, and mechanical engineering. At the Unified Patent Court, Thomas acts both in isolated nullity actions and in litigation involving nullity counterclaims.
