Dr. Ulrich Blumenröder’s primary focus is multinational disputes requiring coordination of validity and infringement proceedings across multiple countries. He also has extensive experience in patent litigation in the fields of telecommunications and consumer electronics. As a result, Ulrich is well versed in the peculiarities of the FRAND defense. He has been representing both large international and medium-sized companies for numerous years.
Ulrich adeptly aligns his clients’ legal and commercial interests. He also provides guidance in settlement discussions and actively participates in mediation and arbitration proceedings in Germany and abroad.
He has been familiar with the Unified Patent Court since 2012 due to regular teaching activities. Since the UPC Agreement came into force on June 1, 2023, he has represented clients before the new court.
